Most lace sets are cut once and graded up on a spreadsheet — same lace panel, same strap length, wider fabric. Ours scales the bust, waist and hip across every size, so the peplum falls the same way at 2XL as it does at S. The 2XL is its own cut, not a stretched-out S.

The lace panels are — at the neckline and the hems. That's the point of them. The body of the top and the shorts is opaque knit. Lighter colours like white and light blue show more than wine red or black.
That's what kills most lace sets, and it's a placement problem, not a lace problem. The trim here sits at the neckline and hems only — the whole chest panel is soft knit. It's a fine mesh lace, not the stiff embroidered kind that catches.
It's a thin-gauge polyester-spandex knit built to move air, not trap it. It drapes away from you instead of clinging, which is what actually keeps you cool. Heavy satin sets look similar and behave nothing alike.
The waistband is wide soft elastic, not the thin cord most sleep shorts use — wide bands stay put, thin ones roll. The scalloped side vents give your legs room, so the shorts move with you instead of wrapping around you.
Cold machine wash in a mesh bag, or hand wash. Lay flat to dry. No dryer — heat stiffens lace permanently, and that's true of every lace garment, ours included. No bleach, no fabric softener. Wash it on its own the first time, as deeper shades can release some dye.
Go by your bust — the full measurements are in the size guide above. The knit has real stretch, so the fit is forgiving in both directions. If you're on the line and want it closer-fitting, size down; for a looser drape, stay with the larger size.
